This FREE retreat in beautiful Beaufort, South Carolina promises to be a rejuvenating experience filled with relaxation, education, and connection with fellow caregivers.

This time we are partnering with Council on Aging centers across the state to offer programming to South Carolina residents with Alzheimer’s and their caregivers.

We will offer a music program featuring Christal Heyward and important advocacy information for caregivers.

“In the Executioner’s Shadow” is a documentary film directed by Maggie Burnette Stogner. The Cross and the Lynching Tree is a powerful and thought-provoking book written by James H. Cone, a prominent theologian and scholar of black liberation theology. The book was published in 2011 and explores the intersections of Christianity, race, and violence in the United States. As many Christians observe Maundy Thursday, we invite you to join us as we explore what it means on follow the “commandment” to stop executions in South Carolina.
